If you are looking for a relaxed Hunter Valley wine tasting experience, we recommend starting with The Discovery. You will try 9 wines and discover the stylistic diversity that can be achieved within the Hunter Valley's two signature varieties Semillon and Shiraz.

About the Discovery Tasting

  • Who is this tasting for?

    We recommend The Discovery tasting experience for those who are new to wine or who like a diverse range of wine styles. This tasting will show you just how versatile Semillon and Shiraz truly can be. This is a 60 minute tasting and costs $15pp.

  • How does it work?

    You will be seated for your tasting, provided with 3 wine glasses and a sheet of the wines you will be tasting. In total there are 4 brackets and for each you will taste 2-3 wines, allowing you to compare them with one another.

  • What wines do we taste?

    This tasting includes 6 white wines and 5 red wines. Included in the 5 white are an off-dry style and a dessert style wine to finish. This tasting also features blends and includes varieties outside of Semillon and Shiraz. You'll taste 8 wines in total.
