Thomas Wines Named Hunter Valley Cellar Door of the Year 2026

The Hunter Valley Legends Awards last Thursday was one of those nights we’ll remember for a very long time.

To be crowned 2026 Hunter Valley Cellar Door of the Year came as a bit of a surprise considering all the wonderful venues that were also nominated for the award, and to be honest, we’re all still recovering from what turned into a very big (and very special) night.

This award belongs as much to you as it does to us.

To every member, customer, visitor and supporter who has sat at our tasting tables, opened a bottle at home, attended an event, or simply backed what we do over the years - thank you. Your support means more than we can say.

We also know it hasn’t been the easiest time for many people and businesses. That makes the support we continue to receive all the more humbling, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

At the same time, we couldn’t be happier with our recent red release. The 2024 Shiraz wines have landed beautifully, and seeing the response from members and visitors alike has been incredibly rewarding.

So if it has been a little while since your last visit, we’d love to welcome you back to our Cellar Door.

And a reminder to our members - your tastings are always complimentary, so bring some friends, settle in and let us show you through the wines.
