Thomas Wines Included in Halliday's 2025 Top 100 Wineries

I'm very pleased to share some exciting news, just in from the Halliday Wine Companion team.

We’ve been included in the list of Australia’s Top 100 Wineries, which is something the whole team is incredibly proud of. Recognition like this really reflects the work we put into every grape that comes through the winery, and of course, the ongoing support we receive from people like you.

"The Halliday Wine Companion Top 100 Wineries is a celebration of the best Australian producers of right now. It acknowledges the movers and shakers as much as the stalwarts, the wineries who consistently produce exceptional wines and, in some cases, memorable cellar door experiences.

The names on this list never rest on their laurels  they constantly strive for better, in their winery, their vineyards, with their growers, and their regions. These are the producers shaping Australia’s modern wine landscape and ensuring its future"

This latest accolade comes on top of news from two weeks ago, where both our 2023 Kiss Shiraz and 2023 Sweetwater Ridge Shiraz were included in the Halliday Top 100 Wines of the year. Kiss features in the red wines over $50 category, while Sweetwater shines in the red wines under $50 list.

With over 9,000 wines tasted by the Halliday team over the last 12 months, to have a single wine included in this list is a significant achievement, let alone having two wines making the cut.

A wonderful acknowledgement of two very different expressions of Hunter Shiraz from the outstanding 2023 vintage, and it goes without saying we are immensely proud.

Most importantly, I want to thank you for being part of the journey. Your enthusiasm for what we do is, at the end of the day, why we do it.
