Exciting Wins and New Releases at Thomas Wines
We are thrilled to share some incredible news from the Hunter Valley, Thomas Wines has recently picked up some impressive accolades at the Hunter Valley Wine Show!
At the show’s celebratory lunch, we were honoured to take home two prestigious trophies. Our 2021 Kiss Shiraz was awarded the James Busby Memorial Trophy for Best Mature Three-Year-Old and Older Shiraz, while the 2024 Sweetwater Ridge Shiraz received the Alexander Munro Memorial Trophy for Best Current Vintage & One-Year-Old Shiraz.
In another endorsement of quality across our entire range, every single wine entered in the show was awarded a medal, including an impressive haul of six Gold and ten Silver medals.

More Good News: Halliday & The Real Revie
In more exciting news, we are proud to announce that Thomas Wines has once again received a Top 5-Star rating in the Halliday Wine Companion. With our consistent dedication to excellence, this Top 5-Star rating maintains our position as "truly of the best producers in the country," an ongoing commendation we wear with immense pride.
Adding to the accolades, our Braemore Cellar Reserve Semillon has been upgraded to a 3-Merit rating from The Real Review, further affirming the outstanding quality and consistency of this iconic wine.
Our current vintage release of Braemore Semillon and Kiss Shiraz have both maintained their 2-Merit ratings.

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, 6th September, we’ll be celebrating the release of the 2025 Semillon range along with the 2019 Braemore Cellar Reserve Semillon at our cellar door.
The upcoming 2019 Braemore Cellar Reserve Semillon has already received 96 points from Toni Paterson MW (Halliday Wine Companion). A true testament to its pedigree. This is definitely one to keep an eye on!
