2024 Priority Members Event
At Thomas Wines, our wine club members are at the heart of everything we do, and each year, we celebrate this wonderful community with an unforgettable day of exceptional wine, food, and fun in the Hunter Valley. The 2024 Priority Members Event was no exception, delivering another magical experience that showcased the very best of Thomas Wines hospitality.
The day began in style, with members collected from their local accommodation via our private coach transfer and welcomed to the cellar door with a crisp glass of champagne and light canapés. It was the perfect way to kick off a day of indulgence and connection, setting the tone for what was to come.
Next stop: our iconic Braemore Vineyard. Guests enjoyed the morning sunshine among the vines, sampling our signature Semillon perfectly paired with fresh oysters. This moment in the vineyard is always a highlight, offering a rare chance to experience the provenance and purity that define our wines with Andrew Thomas and Ken Brae sharing their wisdom about this beautiful vineyard.
Then came the friendly competition! Guests put their skills to the test in a series of lighthearted game, all vying for the chance to win limited-release wines (and, of course, eternal bragging rights). So began the 2024 Braemore Gran Prix! Madness and chaos ensued, with lots of laughs as our members broke up into team and raced remote control cars with wine glasses strapped onto them. The aim: don't spill the wine! Unless you ask Dan, in which case the aim was to see who could spill red wine on Thommo's trousers!
After working up an appetite, it was time for to head over to the renowned Muse Restaurant. A seasonal four-course menu, expertly prepared by Troy and his talented team, showcased the finest local produce, each dish beautifully paired with a selection of our premium wines curated by Thommo himself. Muse, a celebrated two Chef Hat venue, delivered an exceptional culinary experience that was truly unforgettable.
As the afternoon wound down, after a very fun round of the Options game, our Priority wine club members could choose to return via coach transfer or continue the festivities back at the cellar door - with more wine, more stories, and a few "cleansing ales" for good measure.
The 2024 Priority Members Event was a day full of laughter, shared moments, and unforgettable flavours, a true celebration of the wonderful people who support and share our wines year after year.
