Thomas Wines Nominated for Best Value Winery at the 2027 Halliday Awards

We are delighted to share that Thomas Wines has been shortlisted as a nominee for Best Value Winery in the Halliday Wine Companion 2027 Awards.

The Halliday Wine Companion Awards celebrate the very best of Australian wine, recognising excellence across wineries, winemakers, vineyards and cellar doors. To be acknowledged in the Best Value category is particularly meaningful to us because it speaks directly to a philosophy that has guided Thomas Wines since the very beginning: producing world-class Hunter Valley wines that remain accessible, approachable and fairly priced.

At Thomas Wines, value has never meant making inexpensive wine. It has always meant delivering wines that consistently outperform expectations – wines that express their vineyard origins, reward time in the cellar and provide genuine enjoyment, whether opened tonight or decades from now.

For almost thirty years, Andrew Thomas has pursued a simple ambition: to craft the finest Semillon and Shiraz possible from exceptional Hunter Valley vineyards, while ensuring that these wines remain within reach of those who appreciate quality.
