19th June: Old World vs New World Wine Dinner

19th June: Old World vs New World Wine Dinner

Prepare your palate – and your punchlines. The next generation of wine in the Hunter Valley lead this battle of Old World Vs New World wines.

On Thursday 19th June from 6pm, Thomas Wines in collaboration with NINETEEN invites you to an unmissable night of fueled banter, bold flavours and a battle of epic proportions: Old World vs New World.

This four-course wine dinner hosted right here in the Hunter Valley puts the timeless elegance of Old World French wines against the innovative brilliance of Hunter Valley heavyweights – Keith Tulloch, AEON Wines and Thomas Wines. With every course, you’ll taste three wines – one Old World classic and two Hunter Valley challengers – and decide for yourself which side of the wine world reigns supreme.

Guiding you through the grapes will be our trio of charming troublemakers: Dan Thomas, Alisdair Tulloch and Lachlan Sinclair. Expect expert insights, unexpected opinions and plenty of spirited debate as they uncork the difference between tradition and trailblazing.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just here for the laughs and the pours – this is a dinner you won’t want to miss.
