The deep, red loam soils lying over limestone provide this vineyard, located at Sweetwater Ridge with its unique signature. It is a deeply layered wine of exceptional richness and brightness, delivering a velvet smooth, contemporary expression of Hunter shiraz. The dark berried fruit is framed by a silky tannin structure, and extends through a long and savoury finish.

Current release - 2007 vintage (SOLD OUT)
Due to heavy rainfall during the latter half of the 2008 vintage there will be no Sweetwater Shiraz produced.

2009 Sweetwater Shiraz will be release in September 2010.
